I am one of those “lifelong learner” people that your teachers tell you to be. Even though high school really harshed my vibe, I went on to receive my bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2010 from University of Missouri St. Louis. After that, I earned my masters in School Counseling in 2015 from University of Missouri St. Louis. ALSO - I have completed 30 hours of post-graduate coursework through University of Louisiana at Monroe.
I am a Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and I hold a Lifetime Missouri School Counselor Certification (K-8).
I worked in higher education student services for four years and I was an elementary school counselor for seven years. I have worked with kids and adults for many moons but have found my true passion in working with adult clients in private practice for the last year and a half.
Long story short - I love people, hearing their stories, facilitating their growth, and sharing in their experience. I also have a lot of experience being overall awesome and fun to hang out with.
Now that all that is out of the way - I like stuff grannies like...crossword puzzles, cross stitching, cooking and baking. But I also play guitar and yell in a punk band and spend a lot of time not taking crap from people.
I am obsessed with my dogs, Hector & Conrad.
I am a weirdo who likes other weirdos. I also like coffee, cute stuff, and punk rock.
